Salsa Dance Leeds run salsa classes and salsa dancing socials, for absolute beginners and intermediates, every Tuesday at Distrikt in Leeds City Centre.

A lot of salsa classes are heavy on technique and stifle the fun that we think salsa dancing can be, although we will teach you the technique – we are passionate about having fun and the social side of dancing.  That’s meeting new people, enjoying the music and a great workout while you’re at it.

First and foremost, Salsa Dance Leeds is about having fun.  That’s why we organise regular salsa dancing at our home venues, as well as organising nights out on the Leeds salsa scene and to events further afield.

It can be daunting to make the leap into taking a class, but our salsa teachers are friendly and approachable and make sure that we greet any new person as they enter the room and introduce them to our other dancers so no one has to feel awkward.
