Having started their journey with The Dance Company, the KingKompany have already performed at the 02 and are looking to 2013 to be the year they really light up the scene.

It’s fair to say when the KingKompany come to town they never disappoint.

KingKompany in action:

DJ Lubi

What more can we say than he is the ‘Godfather of Salsa’! Having been a DJ for over 30 years now Lubi has risen to the top and plays only the finest hip hop and salsa. He is the resident DJ at Calle Ocho and pretty much any massive salsa event or congress going! Alongside this Lubi plays regularly at the Wardrobe and Azucar.

Having compiled 40 Salsa/Cuban/Latin music compilations with over 150,000 sales in total worldwide, DJ Lubi is the ONLY European Salsa DJ to compile titles for the legendary Fania Records (8 in total plus sleevenotes for 3 titles), and have toured with some extraordinary artists: Eddie Palmieri,Jimmy Bosch, Wayne Gorbea, Johnny Polanco, Alfredo de la Fe, Tito Allen, Johnny Blas, Ricardo Lemvo, Issac Delgado, La-33, La Excelencia, Manolito y su Trabuco, Alex Wilson Orchestra and Bobby Matos.

His journey has taken him to hundreds of international club sessions, festivals and congresses since 1996 in 22 countries (going as far afield as Singapore and Los Angeles) and being honoured with the “International DJ Award West Coast Salsa Congress 2006” from Albert Torres and “Lifetime Achievement Award UK Salsa Congress 2005” from Paul Young.

Here’s one of our favourite tracks from on of DJ Lubis compilation CD’s:

Raymond Pelekamoyo

Ray began dancing at the age of 16 starring as principles in many Musical Theatre summer tours round the south. Then went on to study contemporary and representing Oxford and UK with the Oxford Youth Dance Contemporary Company.

He has worked with many big names such as Nike dance and various other filming opportunities such as Streetdance the movie.

Ray was one of the original members of the supergroup ‘Ateam’ as seen on Got to Dance.

Since arriving to the SDL set up, Kat has lit up the place with her ingenuity. Kat really is a fantastic all rounder, bringing sexy and G together as well as Salsa and Street.
