SDL Recognises – Kelly & Danielle

So it’s been a while since I last wrote. Apologies! But here it is part 2 of the SDL recognises series! Today we recognise Kelly and Danielle. Two attendees who turn up week in week out without fail and they have supported Salsa Dance Leeds through thick and thin.

When I started planning this blog article I thought about writing articles about them individually but these two are a double team and it would be wrong to split them up! They started with us all the way back in 2013 when we were teaching Salsa in Wakefield, then when we decided to concentrate more on Leeds they decided to make the trek across every Tuesday.

Kelly and Danielle have always been of great help to me as the now most experienced salseros in most of our classes. They turn up first and help the beginners get to grips with the moves and offer words of advice and encouragement throughout. Something I know a lot of leads are very thankful for and even some of the follows when they’ve had to lead! With this their own understanding of the dance has developed and the gains that they have been making in recent months have been outstanding making them a pleasure to dance with.

They are two great personalities to have in the class and we wouldn’t have them any other way. But here’s to you Kelly and Danielle. Thanks for all the help, the support and here’s to your amazing development into great dancers! Hopefully there is more to come!
