My Favourite Songs

Once again I begin this latest blog with another apology about how long it has taken me to write another. But you know me! So we’re all cool?! I hope so anyway. Right, so for this one I realised there is a big gap in our extensive list of blogs, there isn’t a list of our favourite songs! Well every week it seems I get asked for the best salsa music to listen to, so I thought I would trawl my library and put down some of my favourite songs.

Now before we go any further I want you to realise that these are my favourite songs and may not be yours. They are songs that pick me up when I’m feeling blue and get me in the mood for salsa. Now I myself enjoy dancing LA and Cuban salsa so there will be a mix of genres and some that aren’t really anything to do with salsa at all but are good to get a groove on to.

So here we go.

Vamos A Gozar – Orquesta Narvaez

Final – Juan Formell y Los Van Van

Mississippi Mambo – Alfredito Linares

Siguelo – Javier Vazquez

Cali Pachanguero – Grupo Niche

I Want You Back feat. Tito Nieves – Tony Succar

La Banda – Spanish Harlem Orchestra

Yo Vengo de Cuba – FClan feat. Alexander Abreu & Havana d´Primera

Suelta Lo Que No Es Tuyo – Berna Jam

Un Monton Estrellas – Polo Montanez

Lluvia – Louie Ramirez y Ray De La Paz

Croma Latina Medley -You To Me Are Everything/Esperando Primavera

Amor y Control Ruben Blades y los Seis del Solar

Chando se Quiere – Naty y Su Orquesta

La Gripe – La Maxima 79

There are more, but I thought 15 would be enough for now! Hope you enjoy listening to them. If you want more check out our YouTube and Spotify Channels!
